ABOUT THIS PATH
This is a gentle path, because it is designed to fit snugly into your daily life. There are no time limits here. I have divided the path into four sections. You can take your time, following them as you would with any beloved practice. Perhaps for you this means everyday, or, if you are like me, you let words and practices settle in slowly, over weeks. This can be just as much or as little as you need. These pages will be here whenever you feel ready to return, to take another soft step forward.
The practices on this path are also gentle - most will resemble normal parts of your everyday life. Walking. Eating. Resting. Seeing, smelling and touching. These are all things we do everyday. I am simply here to guide you inwards, to awaken you to the life that surrounds and fills you.
I won't force you to continue any practice that does not feel right. There is no right or wrong here. There is only an exploration. Every practice outlined is a suggestion, and can be reworked to fit your own life. The point is to breath life into your world, and for your world to breath life into you. A meaningful practice is one we craft ourselves, making it our own. Take what feels right, continue those parts that bring you joy. This is about you and your individual path. I hope my words will act as small seeds, wound in and amongst the practices you are already cultivating.
Remember, a tiny acorn can grow into a huge oak tree with time. Each small moment you dedicate to yourself will grow the seeds we plant here.
Mindfulness is the awareness of what is going on in and around us, in the present moment. It is the act of filling our cups to the brim with this moment, nourishing ourselves with what is present.
This moment is the only moment in which life is fully available to us. In this moment, we can touch the miracle of being alive. We can shape the future, rewrite the past in our own words, make conscious steps in any direction, and take in nourishment for our bodies and souls. In this moment, we are alive.
Awareness is a gift, tapping us into everything.
Our awareness is with us every moment of every day. It is unconditional.
Mindfulness is a method, or tool, that brings us into our awareness. It is a practice, and because it is a practice, it is not something to be perfected. We are always practicing. There is no end goal with mindfulness. Instead, it is a path in itself. It is, simply put: a way of being.

I hope this will feel like a homecoming for your spirit.
I hope you will discover your innate superpowers, those parts of your emotions, senses, and intuitions that are always speaking to you.
I hope we can bring the temple down into your body and your home, revealing the divine in the unconditional, every-day.
I hope these methods and words will be like candles in times of darkness, allowing you to find your strength when you need it most.
I hope they can also illuminate the beauty and fragility that surrounds you. When we dive into ourselves, we learn that we are not separate from our Mama Earth and her beings. By igniting our feelings and caring for ourselves, we will eventually begin to care more about the whole world. And therein lies the true seed I wish to sow.
