A CREATIVE MEDITATION
This is a wholly personal practice - find your passion and flow, whether it be through song, written words, movement, painting, tattooing, practicing martial arts, or snowboarding!
1. Brainstorm:Sit and ponder some of the ways you could bring mindfulness to your personal passions. Perhaps this means focusing more on your body - learning about its capabilities, and cultivating gratitude for every action it performs. Or maybe this means instilling your creative works with special intentions. For me it meant taking a moment before every photograph to truly appreciate the view in front of me, without a lens.
2. Live it out:For the next while, try to apply your unique mindful approach to your passions!
3. Rest and Reflect:Take some time to reflect on this process - you can use your journal to record your thoughts and experiences. This is not something to be rushed, take your time, see where things go. Remember, mindfulness is a practice, so there is no end goal, just a continual exploration!

Final Journal Prompts:
Get cosy, find a favourite pen, and take a few minutes to sit with these last few questions:
What are my unique gifts?
What is my myth ~ my story? What character do I want to play? The minstrel? The magician? The scholar or the lover? A warrior princess?
In what ways am I a wise person? Where does my wisdom lie? (Think about what you have learned along this path, dear heart, and how much of that wisdom was your OWN!)
What forms of expression from others really move or inspire me? How do I feel when I see others openly and vulnerably expressing themselves?
If I listened to my intuition, my gut, and my desire’s, where would they lead me?
Whatever you do, do it with your whole heart. Hold compassion for yourself, even when things are not going so smoothly. Appreciate the process. Let yourself rest, and make time for daydreaming too. Get out, and get inspired! Use every bit of wisdom you have within you, dear heart. You are your own guru. You are the student and the teacher.
